One of the ABC’s most high rating franchises, The Doctor Blake Mysteries follows the doctors return to 1950’s Ballarat after an absence of thirty years. However he finds the once sleepy town now filled with murder and intrigue, where the simplest crimes can hide surprising motives.

 

Chroma produced thousands of shots over the four seasons, helping to create the unique 1950’s world through extensive augmentation of locations, digital removal, stunt enhancement, extras duplication, CG set extensions, vehicles, and production design support. Our close involvement with the various practical departments allowed the production to have a wider choice of shooting locations, using extensive location enhancement and green screen integration to create unique set pieces and action.
